hello! my name is dana and i’m a student at miami university. this blog is about girls – how we’re treated, how we treat ourselves, and the expectations our culture places upon our bodies and our identities. as a girl who has lived through manipulative relationships and serious self-image and body-image struggles, i think i have a perspective on gender issues that many girls can relate to. i also have a passion for advocating for the rights of girls and women globally. why should any girl in any country be treated as anything less than the beautiful creation she is?
